What is Retirement Planning?

Retirement planning is the process of determining our client's goals for a financially secure retirement and developing and implementing strategies to ensure they achieve them.   It involves examining their current financial position and identifying the steps they need to take to reach their goals.

Why should our client do it?

Retirement represents the "Golden Years", years where you are suppose to enjoy life unrestricted by jobs and family obligations.  Unfortunately, retirement also brings dramatic changes in our client's "sources of income."   Where they once could rely on Social Security to help support them, they now need to support themself.  In short, they need to plan for the future.

What level of lifestyle are they accustomed to?  What financial resources will be needed to support that lifestyle? Where will the money come from? How will they protect their income and assets against inflation? What about taxes?
